About Selvanigethan

I am a software developer by profession developing mainly java based full stack applications for more than four years. Therefore, I have gained in-depth understanding about the concepts in computer programming and techniques. Furthermore, I am a YouTuber making content regarding Tech education (Java, Arduino etc). I have also taught programming online as a visiting lecturer for more than 3 years.

About the lesson

I believe programming can be taught in a way students enjoy learning it and making mistakes in order to move towards perfection. During the online session choose to use whiteboards/diagram drawing applications to explain the scenario and flow. Along with that I use the programming IDE to demonstrate writing code and explain the logic and techniques along with the outcome. Students will be asked to do in-class tasks and also home assignments to submit in the next class.
A typical lesson plan for Java (for example) will look like:
1. What is a programming language and what it does?
2. What java sets apart and the main feature of it.
3. Write your first code in Java
4.Fundamental programming in Java and techniques
5. Object Oriented Programming in Java
6. Java based frameworks examples and how they can be used for developing web applications.

I have been teaching programming in YouTube for few years as a content creator, and I have taught programming to more then 100 students online, which sets me apart as a tutor who understands the ways each student grabs a subject and how the subject has to be delivered according to the student and how he/she has to be trained with programming tasks.

The lessons are for anyone who wants to excel in programming (java) with the theoretical knowledge and good level of coding experience where they can gain a confidence that they can do things in the world of programming, by themselves.
