About Nadine

About me: I am a language-loving academic with an university degree in social pedagogy and 8 years of teaching experience with both children and adults.

My mother tongue is German, I have been speaking Brazilian Portuguese (level C1 / C2) fluently for 3 years and at mother tongue level. I speak English at level C1 / C2 and have years of experience in private English lessons. Through my own, self-taught language learning (Spanish and Portuguese), I am familiar with the way into a new language, with all its hurdles and difficulties.
With my experience, I am happy to accompany you, step by step and at your own pace, on your individual learning path.

Since 2018 I have been giving private lessons in German as a Foreign Language (DaF) for my Brazilian students.
I live with my Brazilian partner in Rio de Janeiro, work as a freelance tattoo artist and private language teacher in the form of face-to-face and online lessons.

You determine your priorities and your learning pace yourself. I design the online lessons individually, stress-free and as versatile as possible to not lose sight of the fun of language learning.

All age groups and language levels (A1 - C1) are welcome, I will customize the lessons for YOU to your wishes, needs and goals. I am happy to help you with the preparation of application documents, translations of all kinds from English or (Brazilian) Portuguese into German (DE-EN) (DE-PT) and much more.
