About Logan
With over 3 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Violin Pedagogy, I teach violin in a way that combines technical skill and musical understanding. My approach integrates music theory, aural training, and sight reading directly into practice.
We focus on scales, intervals, and harmony through practical bowing and fingering exercises. Students preparing for music theory exams receive hands-on tools for understanding complex concepts. Sight reading and aural skills are embedded into every lesson.
I work with exam candidates and students aiming to improve overall musical fluency. Lessons are clear, structured, and engaging, building both technical ability and theoretical knowledge.
Together, we will develop confident playing and a comprehensive understanding of music to become a well-rounded violinist.

I teach violin with a focus on improvisation, creative exploration, and personal musical expression. Non-classical styles like jazz, folk, and world music provide a rich framework for learning.
Students practise creating melodies over chord progressions, experimenting with rhythm, and developing unique musical ideas. I emphasise listening, responding, and playing with intuition.
I support worship singers and musical theatre enthusiasts in translating their performance ideas to the violin. Structured exercises mix with playful improvisation to make learning engaging.
Lessons help students gain confidence, fluency, and a personal improvisational voice. Together, we unlock creativity and develop a style that is entirely your own.
