Joshua is a totally trustworthy and very skilled tennis tutor who combines explaining the technical aspects of the game with really good tips on how to make steady progress. He is also extremely patient and nice to know! I and family members have been having tennis lessons with him for just over a year and I am happy to recommend him to all age groups.

I'm in London for work for a couple of weeks and booked a session with Joshua as he had the fastest reply time out of the coaches I reached out to. We primarily focused on my footwork and using my weight through my shots. This helped a lot as it improved my overall balance and power through the shots. A really technical and tactical session! Josh did a joint session with myself and my 8 yr old daughter. We did 20 mins x 40 mins each and it was super fun! we both left feeling proud , happy and excited to book another session in again!

As a VERY very beginner player, I felt very reassured and happy with Joshua's teaching style and patience. I was super nervous for the first session as I wasn't sure how it would go or if it would even be worth my while. We primarily focused on lots of technique and balance work. It's a whole different story watching Wimbledon compared to actually playing tennis haha. None the less, I had lots of fun!!

Joshua had great detail when looking at my serve. He immediately recognised the dropping off my left hand, bad ball toss, weight transfer and contact point. (Yes I'm aware there were a lot of errors on my serve haha)

After we corrected these small details it was like magic and I felt a lot more confident and accurate hitting these serves!

Joshua is a great teacher who is able to bring expertise in several disciplines to the lessons. He is very enthusiastic and dedicated to his students and I would highly recommend him.

I'm in London for work and reached out to multiple people to try and get a session in. Joshua had a super fast reply time and it was so easy and quick to set up a session (the very next day)

My kids have thoroughly been enjoying Joshua's sessions. He keeps it both insightful and fun at the same time and they both look forwards to the sessions each week. I'm impressed with their improvement so far and their goal is to get a rally of up to 6!

After watching Wimbledon I was so fascinated by the sport and booked in my first session! Bare in mind this is my first ever time playing tennis so I was extremely nervous and anxious but Joshua made the lesson so chill, fun and enjoyable. My two kids (age 11 and 8) had a session with Joshua doing both 30 mins each. They are both different standards as one has played tennis several times and my other is a newbie.

I was impressed at how versatile he was in his ability to teach all standards and age's while also making it fun, educational and interesting.

Joshua is a fantastic coach! we worked on my serve for 20-30 minutes where he showed me exercises on how to improve my contact point/ ball toss and body weight/ positioning. Super happy with the feedback and exercises he gave me as this has helped me a lot especially when trying these exercises outside of our class.

I reached out to Joshua as I was in London for the month for work and wanted to find someone who could rally well and give me a run for my money. He did exactly that and I honestly felt like I left a few kg's lighter after all the running he made me do haha

I've had a few coaches now but I really admired and enjoyed Joshua's simple way of explaining small details without over complicating things too much

I've seen Josh coaching a few times at my local tennis courts and approached him to enquire about sessions. I've played a bit previously but am no better than a beginner lol. Our first session consisted of 2hrs where we covered a range of exercises and drills mainly covering technique and footwork. He was able to identify my weaknesses on groundstrokes (not turning my feet correctly or finishing over the shoulder). It's amazing how such small details can improve your overall game. Overall such a fun session!! :)

I've done several sessions with Joshua now. He's been really good at giving me constructive criticism and useful feedback. Joshua tends to use video analysis to pinpoint specific areas where I could improve, such as adjusting my grip and stance to generate more power and accuracy. I recently attended a tennis lesson at Golders Hill Park and it was an enlightening experience. The instructor, Coach Joshua, was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient, catering to players of all skill levels.

I reached out to Joshua as I wanted to do some work on my control and direction of shots. We booked in a 2hr session and I left happy with a bunch of new tools with how to keep the ball in specific parts of the court (mainly using my hips, shoulders and body weight behind the ball).

It was a super fun session and I've booked a bunch of sessions in for the month of July.

I was surprised at how quick and easy it was to set up our first session - messaged Josh and he happened to have a slot available on the same day.

We focused specifically on my volly's and serves and was impressed on his ability to show progression from one exercise to another. Will definitely get in contact for another session.

Playing at my local club today - I had great pleasure in putting my newly learnt skills into action. My opponents were amazed at the improvement in my game and I was delighted. I gotta give all credit to Joshua and who knows maybe Wimbledon next? HAHA

We visited London recently from the states and decided to leave our son to have a lesson with Joshua - his reviews are consistently very good and we wanted to see if he was as good a coach as his reviews would indicate. The bottom line is he is!! Within 15 minutes of court time Joshua had identified a problem with my son's play and through the hour had it sorted! Amazing! So good in fact we booked in for a second lesson. Not only a great coach, but a friendly and warm individual, I would highly recommend Joshua for tennis players of all ages and abilities.

I can’t recommend Josh enough: apart from being a highly experienced professional tennis coach and great player, he is also very conscientious, with great energy and quick to find what works. I came to the sport as someone with decent hand eye co-ordination, but more of a cricket/squash than tennis player! I left actually being able to play proper tennis shots, with a good, solid basis in technique. Plus had a hugely enjoyable time with it! Excellent value for money too.

My friend and I did a joint session and found his teaching style informative, friendly and fun. We did a variety of drills that involved us playing from the base line and worked on moving towards the service line/ net to volley. Although this was extremely tiring for both of us we thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely play again!

I was training for a tournament I had and contacted Josh to see if we could just rally/ do points play and he agreed that would be fine.

I was impressed at how well he played. I asked if he could play at a level that would be difficult for me and felt like I took a lot of good experience and practice from the session. He also gave me great feedback on silly mistakes I was making.

I recommend Joshua for anyone trying to improve their game. We have done a session once a week for just over a month and I am super happy with my progress! I went from barely being able to consistently get my groundstrokes over to being able to get 10+ over consistently with control and perfect technique. I am excited to see the progress I can make in 3-5 months time. Super happy with my results and happy to have found such a great coach.

Josh had a great understanding to tackle problems I had with my forehand and footwork. I loved his passion and enthusiasm towards the session, he had no other sessions after me so kindly did 10mins over time. I was impressed with the structure of the session as we began with a ladder (which I've never used before) I was unfamiliar with the exercises but got the hang of it the more I tried which helped drastically with my coordination, footwork and speed. I've scheduled another session in and can't wait to play!

Josh has coached my son for just over a month now and he looks forward to the session each week. Josh really helped my overall ground strokes (specifically my backhand) that I was having trouble with. He was able to identify the main issues I had with it and I am feeling much more comfortable. I hope to continue sessions as I have some tournaments coming up in March!

Fast response time. Easy to organise first session. Really enjoyed the session particularly working on my backhand and enjoyed using the ladder in the warm up as I had initially stated I wanted to work on my speed and footwork.

I’ve had 10 lessons with Josh now and I can say that he’s the best coach I’ve had by far. I struggled a lot with my backhand and in just a few lessons I’ve improved massively. Besides the tennis side of things, he is very caring and kind and was very patient with me as I was messing up a lot at the start. Highly recommended!
