About Kaitlyn
I love teaching skateboarding at my local skatepark and I wanted to find a way that I could extend this out to a broader community.
I have competed in skate comps all across Australia and love the community and love that is spread through it, I want to extend that to more and more young people.

My coaching is tailored towards younger children (5-15) who are just stepping on a skateboard for the first time, they are getting children ready for their first time at the skatepark. Lessons can go for anywhere between 30 minutes - 1 hour. Some of the skills you will learn include:
- skateboard stance (goofy or regular)
- pushing, turning and skate stance
- skatepark etiquette
- safety procedures and equipment
- what to do when you get to the skatepark
- simple and fun tricks you can try at home!
ABOUT ME
My name is Kaitlyn and I am 17, I have been skating for 6 years (since I was 11), and I have been teaching lessons at my local skatepark for 3 of those years. I know how daunting it is to step into the skatepark as a young child, these lessons are to make that first time less scary!
