About Raphaela
When I first started playing the ukulele, I was incredibly reserved and timid, especially when it came to music, despite it being something I was passionate about. However, with time and practice, the ukulele became a part of my musical identity, giving me more confidence to perform and sing in public. It is with this in mind that I wish to share my passion for the ukulele with other children and hopefully build their confidence in performance and in life in general.

- One hour or 30 minute sessions (online) - I am well-versed in the playing and performance of various types of ukulele (e.g. concert/soprano, electric and banjolele) and have 5 years' experience. - Lessons are targeted towards beginners at the ukulele who would like to try their hand at something new and expand their musical capabilities. - I believe that the ukulele is an excellent instrument for introducing children to music and I also believe in allowing them to have a say in the type of music they play, allowing them to personalise their course of study in accordance with their interests.

Raphaela is the most patient, knowledgeable and passionate tutor who helped me with my English Literature and Language GCSEs. The notes she gave me were in depth, focused and well organised and her explanations were always clear. She has a genuine love for English and I always enjoyed our sessions.
