About Iyanu
I am a Sixth-Form student at Harrow School, and as a student myself, I understand how challenging it can be to feel behind in your class and to face uncertainty about your own ability within the subject, which is why I am determined to push my tutees to the highest level.

I take a tutee-first approach to my tutoring, through focusing on their specific needs and establishing a connection - I strive to earn the trust of my tutees helps to effectively motivate them. I start with the concepts that they find the hardest and work backwards so they can understand the basics behind difficult concepts. This "deep-end" method has pushed one of my tutees in increasing his predicted grade up by two levels.
Most of my lessons involve essay-writing technique and open discussion so that students can develop points that are most pertinent to them specifically, which is vital for top marks in essays. Work outside of lessons is necessary so they can be discussed in the lessons. The typical lengths for these lessons range from 60-90 minutes, depending on the content.
