About Dina
For more than twenty years teaching SiXhosa to pre-service and in-service teachers has been what I loved to do, the very sunshine of my life. As an education development officer and Whole School Evaluator both the academic and didactic aspects have been my line of specialisation. My honours and masters studies are in African Languages and Indigenous Knowledge Systems respectively. SiXhosa is my Mother Tongue.

Play-way methodologies and interactive strategies lead to a relaxed atmosphere. Languages have a lot in common, so moving from known aspects help learners to hinge the new information on the already existing frameworks. When studying for the Diploma in Applied Linguistics I was amazed at how 'error analysis' assisted learners to merge their knowledge and understanding of English, Afrikaans and SiXhosa.
