About Taylor
I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I specialize in teaching young children and early teens, using creative and playful methods that make learning fun. My lessons often include games, movement, and storytelling to help students grasp pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics naturally. I love working with folk songs, Disney tunes, and musical theater, all while focusing on age-appropriate vocal techniques. These familiar songs keep students engaged and excited to practice. Building confidence and strong listening skills is just as important as developing technique in my teaching. I believe every child deserves a safe and encouraging space to explore their voice. My approach encourages joy and creativity in music-making, making each lesson an adventure. Learning to sing should feel fun, not stressful. Together, we’ll nurture your child’s unique voice and love for music. Singing can be an exciting journey, and I’m here to guide every step.

My singing methodology focuses on vocal wellness, mindfulness, and long-term voice care to support every singer’s journey. Warm-ups are essential—they gently prepare the voice and body, reducing strain and promoting healthy vocal placement. I emphasize hydration habits, encouraging regular water intake to keep the vocal cords flexible and resilient.
For The Soloist in Training, we balance ambitious vocal goals with mental calm, ensuring practice remains joyful rather than stressful. Mindfulness techniques help manage performance anxiety, keeping focus steady and confidence strong. The Church Ensemble Player benefits from group harmony and connection, where mindful breathing and relaxed posture foster vocal ease and blend.
I recommend using vocal tracking apps to monitor progress and stay motivated. Mindfulness timers support focused practice without overexertion. Guided breathwork tools help develop breath control and relaxation, both vital for healthy singing. Together, we create a sustainable practice that honors your voice and spirit.
Singing should be a source of joy and self-expression. With care and awareness, each singer can grow stronger, more confident, and deeply connected to their unique sound.
