About Simon
Simon has played close to 1,000 live dates during his long career, including gigs in Europe, Asia and the USA. He has appeared on radio and television. He was the resident guitarist and bass player for 6 years during the pantomime season at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford, performing there in nearly 400 live shows with Music Director RAB HANDLEIGH. In 2015 Simon was encouraged by jazz fusion guitarist LARRY CORYELL to return to playing live music. He currently sings and plays guitar with blues rock band the Psychedelic Hearts Club. The band features Beatles' songs from the Sergeant Pepper's Heart's Club era (the inspiration for the band's name), psychedelic rock and electric blues. The band have performed in UK, France & Spain.
