About Nathalia
I am Brazilian and I started karate when I was 5 years old.
I got black belt in 2012 and passed 2nd Dan in 2014 - I have Japanese certifications (and the exam examiners were Japanese too).
Since 2012 I am Sensei in the Kiokay Karate Academy in southern Brazil.
In 2019 I moved to Montpellier.
I have participated in several national and international championships - and the biggest achievement of my career as an athlete is the 3rd place title in Kata at the JKS World Championship in 2019 in Dublin.

I follow the Japanese method of teaching.
The course is normally divided into three parts - the warm-up, the basics of the techniques and the technique itself (divided into Kata and Kumite).
The kata is a sequence of movements, an imaginary fight.
Kumite is combat with a real opponent - with punches and kicks (always with control, the goal is not to hurt someone).
Respect and discipline are fundamental.
The courses are offered in French, Portuguese, Italian and English.
