About Dana

The soul-catching International Singer/Songwriter, Dana Elle moves minds and touches hearts with original compositions of R&B, Soul, Groove, Jazz & Blues. 2nd album "Wake Up" produced by British Producer Femi Temowo known for his success with artists such as Amy Winehouse, The Roots, and George Benson. With over 500 worldwide performances in Los Angeles, Tel Aviv, Paris, Nice, Amsterdam, Haag, Utrecht, London's iconic Ronnie Scott's and many more, Dana has been captivating audiences with a lively and dynamic show. Moving the crowd to dance and lift their voices in song, spreading a message of letting go of pasts and moving forward, living your dreams to the fullest. With the Crowdfunding project "Dana's World Corporation" was pleased to have the opportunity to work with artists from around the world, such as Poogie Bell (Drummer of Erykah Badu), Sterling Crew (Keyboardist for Santana), Bennet McClean (Violinist for Faithless), John Moon (worked with Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson) amongst others. The Album was released in 2016 when Dana went on her first EU tour, she played on various radio shows among the Jo Good’s on BBC RADIO LONDON (2017), Soho radio (2018) Sunny and Shay BBC London. Signing with Mom productions the French performance agency who used to be agents of Nina Simone for 20 years got Dana the amazing opportunity in 2018 to tour with the famous French singer Julien Clerc as an opening act on his concerts in the Netherlands in front of 4000 people in the crowd. The tour brought Dana great exposure. With lyrics written specifically to touch a wide range of people, bringing a message of living your life to the full, getting audiences around the world to spread hope, inspiration and beauty. In 2013 Dana released a debut album of Soul, Jazz, R&B Influences, "SWAN", assembled from 8 songs which were written and composed by Dana and produced by Yossi Fine (who worked with famous artists such as David Bowie and Lou Reed). The album received the "Discovery of the Year" accolade on 88 FM Radio, the most played single from the album "Maybe" was "Song of the Year" on Kol Israel 106 FM.(2014). In 2018 Dana got booked to perform as an opening act to Julien Clerc on an International tour, as well Dana got invited to perform on the FA Cup Finals at Wembley Stadium. Recently Dana has combined forces with a band from the States "Beats Antique" together they wrote a tribute song for peace in Arabic & French, the song, "La Refuge" was released in 2016, is currently available online as are Dana's own releases. Dana’s family story has amazed many reporters and these days being released a big two days article in the Romanian newspapers which includes some unbelievable stories about her musical background, the Ovitz family who had a theatre called the Lilliput troupe, 7 brothers and sisters who were gnomes that survived Auschwitz concentration camp, Dana’s being the only member in the family who chose the same path of life as music being her career. Dana Elle is now located in London, she recently signed on a management agreement with Julius from JFM company who is representing her these days on her new upcoming project she’s recording in London while collaborating, performing and touring around the UK, Europe and internationally.

About the lesson

I base classes according to the knowledge of the student. I start from the basic alphabet and continue to basic addressing. Afterwards, we’ll learn main sentences which I find more handy and help in getting the language much faster! Looking forward to teaching you :)

Perfect! An enchanting teacher who brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the teaching of her native language. Hebrew is an ancient and intriguing language which I feel privileged to learn from Dana, an incredibly talented musician and teacher, whom I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wishes to learn the Hebrew language to a high standard and within an enjoyable atmosphere. I am learning the lyrics of beautiful songs as well as the rigor of verb forms and look forward to enriching and expanding my Hebrew with joy and inspiration from Dana.
