About Shelby

I have been sewing for 12 years and have gained many skills along the way. These skills expanded from making plushies and quilting to dress making and costume design! I also quite decorated in this field, I have won multiple local and state fairs. As well as for the past three years judging at these venues. I am also skilled at teaching these subjects especially to youth. I was a 4-H advisor often running classes of 15 teaching these skills. I also keep up to date on the latest sewing trends and the necessary skills pertaining to each trend.

About the lesson

My teaching approach like many skill based practices is learn by doing. I will first show you step by step how a project is to go together. After a quick demonstration we will work together on the projects fixing any problems that may arise together as we move on.
