About Katly
I have been sewing for 8 years (2024) current year and I originally started with my own plus size clothing range called Katly Plus, it was handmade by me, designed some items myself and the aim at the time was to give the plus size woman a comfortable and unique fashion experience. Since then Katly Plus is no more! I quickly started teaching my newfound sewing skills and have a successful Sewing business. But wait there is more, I also started making handbags and soon I started designing my own. I learned to use a graphic design program to make my own handbag and accessories PDF sewing patterns and now teaching and designing bags are my main focus. I sew clothes, quilt, applique, make handbags and everything in between.

Beginners course 5 hours over two weeks - $238
* Make a dishcloth, practice sewing straight, learn about putting PDF pattern together for your project, topstitching, and machine settings
* Make two lovely pillowcases with a fun trim, straight stitching, seam finishes like french seam, or flat f-elt seam.
*Make an easy-fit Teeshirt - using knit fabric, needles, settings on your machine, reading pattern markings, using PDF patterns and printing, and sticking together your pattern, neckbands, and hems.
*Student to supplier material and notions from list provided upon booking
