About Steven
I’m a senior 3D artist with skillsets that cover all aspects of the 3D VFX & animation production process. I’ve managed and guided junior artists through my career as well as having the privilege of working for some of the largest & highest calibre animation studios in Australia.
My skillset includes 3D modeling, shaders development, lighting & rendering, particle effects, animation, compositing, image retouching, scripting and much more.
I'll also help you improve as a 3D/CG artist. As well as learning technical skills, we should be developing an eye for high quality CG artwork. I can teach you how to develop that eye, and the techniques you can apply to achieve that high quality finish in your artwork.
I can also go deeper into other necessary skills and knowledge that you should know to survive and excel in the professional environment.

3D Studio Max - all aspects.
Maya - Lighting & Rendering
Renderers - Vray, Redshift and Arnold.
PBR shader development
Compositors - After Effects, Nuke & Fusion
Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe software
Scripting - Maxscript and Python

Perfect! Steven is an extremely thorough tutor - with an expansive knowledge on all areas of Maya including modelling, texturing, lighting and so on. He is open to questions and works hard to answer these to the best of his ability - always to an industry standard. Would definitely recommend, regardless of skill-set and experience using Maya.
