About Ian
I am 62 years of age and have worked in numerous positions in South Africa and Qatar.
In my previous role as inter alia Director of Intelligence, General Manager, and Director of Operations, to name but a few, I successfully managed a team of up to 100 employees, overseeing daily operations and achieving impressive results.
I am skilled in developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets, and improving business processes.
Additionally, my ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members has resulted in increased customer satisfaction and employee retention.
I am a strong leader with a passion for developing and mentoring team members and finding new ways to solve problems. I believe in creating a positive work environment that fosters growth and encourages creativity.
I have BA, LLB, and MBL degrees as well as numerous other certificates, among others ISO 9001, ISO 31000, strategic leadership, and facilities management.

I use an approach with PowerPoint slides to convey my message.
I teach in either Afrikaans or English.
A typical lesson will include a certain amount of theory, with references from where sources, as well as practical examples and applications from my numerous strategy engagements in both South Africa and the Middle East.
The level I am at can be either basic, i.e. you have no strategy knowledge or advanced where you need to freshen up your skills.
