About Emma
I am a working reporter in London who has completed my NCTJ and I am looking to help others get over the line and pass their 100wpm exams too. I passed all of my shorthand exams first time and work to help others see success in their shorthand. I know that it is a daunting task but I truly believe that with the right level of practice and exercises that everyone can get there.

I know that shorthand is a tedious chore for many people but I absolutely love it and hope for my passion to rub off on my students.
I believe that consistent, short bursts of learning are best for perfecting the skill. Therefore, I recommend lessons of half a hour to one hour at a time and around half an hour of independent practice each day.
I can tailor my lessons based on your current knowledge. I am happy to work with absolute beginners to learn the outlines and the technique. However, I also teach speed building and techniques to get people through their 60wpm, 80wpm and 100wpm exams.
