I am a Senior Lecturer in Architecture at a leading London university, teaching Design Studio and Technology modules on an RIBA-accredited degree course.

I am also a qualified Architect, ARB registered and RIBA Chartered, with nearly a decade of experience supporting architecture students across all stages of their studies - from university applications and architecture portfolio preparation through to Part II and professional progression.

I offer:
- Online one-to-one tutorials in the UK and internationally
- Remote portfolio reviews using 'whiteboard' technology
- Face-to-face tutorials in London

Architecture Portfolio Reviews include:
- Review of the overall portfolio narrative and structure
- Feedback on design studio project presentation
- Suggestions to improve architectural drawings and diagrams
- Advice on how portfolios are typically reviewed by tutors or employers

*How I Can Help*

I support architecture students at all stages of their studies, helping them develop stronger design thinking, clearer drawings, and more effective portfolios.

Many students seek support when they feel stuck in a design studio project, preparing for a portfolio submission, or getting ready for an important crit or review. My tutorials aim to help you clarify your ideas and present your work with confidence.

- portfolio review and feedback for Part I and Part II job portfolios

- structuring presentations for design studio crits
- explaining your design decisions clearly and confidently
- responding constructively to tutor feedback

My aim is to help you:

Sessions are tailored to your specific project and often involve reviewing drawings, diagrams, models or portfolios together.

- discussing design strategies and alternatives
- identifying clear next steps for your project

Students often book tutorials when preparing for upcoming studio reviews, crits, or portfolio deadlines.

Important Note:
As a university lecturer, I cannot tutor students currently enrolled at my own institution and I do not complete assessed work for students. Tutorials focus on mentoring and helping you develop your own work.

Details

Hourly rates are £90 for a live one-to-one tutorial, held online.

Tutorial includes:
- Recording of the tutorial, which you can watch back afterwards.
- Drawing / tracing over your current work, using an online whiteboard / pdf mark-up which you can also have a copy of to take away with you.
