About Nestor

I'm a Togolese holder of a Master Degree in Business Law from the University of Lomé in Togo, an Advanced Business Translation Diploma from Paris in France, a DELF/DALF Trainer-Examiner Certification from the French Ministry of Education, a French Teacher and Translator's Certification from the University of Franche Comté in Besançon in France and over 20 years active experience in teaching adults and children, in translation and interpretation and in other bilingual specialised activities. I'm currently the MD/CEO of Nestopolis Group (specialised in business and legal consulting, market surveys, project management, translation and language trainings).

About the lesson

Having RECEIVED my French Teaching and Translation trainings from France, I always focused, whether it's online or in-person, on the four (04) European standard competences required from all learners in order to have a good knowledge and control of any European or foreign language, mainly :

1- Oral production (helping the students to speak the language with an accent closer to native speaking as possible in order to be easily understood while speaking) ;

2 - Oral understanding (helping the students to understand French speakers when they are speaking, either in-person or through any communication device or channel like on the phone, on radio, on TV, etc.)

3 - Written production (helping the students to be able to continually perfect their ability to write in French)

4 - Written comprehension (helping students to be able to continually improve their ability to read and understand any support written in French)

N.B.
- I teach all those competences in a way that gradually help the students to stop relating to their first language or any language they are comfortable with before understanding what's being communicated in French. The goal is to create direct connections in the students' brain to help them think and understand directly in French and speed up the learning process.

- All those competences are emphasised throughout all the four levels (Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced - & Expert)

- But the competences can be taught à la carte (by laying more emphasis on one or some of them depending on the needs and goals of the students)
