About Indraani

I’m a Kathak dancer and semiclassical dance teacher with 6+ years of experience, with a special love for teaching adults.

Over the years, I’ve learned that adults don’t need to be taught like children or expected to learn in exactly the same way. We come with different bodies, experiences, confidence levels and learning styles—and I enjoy finding the approach that brings out the best in each student.

What I love most is making classical-inspired dance feel accessible, expressive and exciting. If you’ve always loved classical dance but never had the time or opportunity to pursue years of formal training, I’d love to help you experience its beauty in a way that feels natural, enjoyable and truly yours.

My classes are about learning, expressing yourself and having fun—while discovering what your body can do.

About the lesson

You don’t need years of classical dance training to experience the joy of it.

These classes are created especially for adults who love the beauty, grace and expression of classical dance, but may not have the time or desire for years of structured training.

I bring classical elements into fun, expressive semiclassical choreography, set to everything from timeless evergreen favourites to trending songs.

With 6+ years of experience teaching adults, I understand that every adult learns differently. I customise my approach to your comfort, ability and learning pace, so you can move with confidence rather than feeling pressured to be “perfect”.

Come as you are—learn, express, enjoy and discover your own way of dancing.
