About Lydia
I am a Secondary English Teacher by profession and qualified Early Years Education with Level
3 EYFS qualification. I have years of experience in teaching young people and children. I also
had a Montessori experience integrated in the Early Years Foundation approach. Moreover, I
hold a Paediatric First Aid in Early Years Level 3.
I have special skills in music and I can play musical instruments to help them relax and enjoy
each other’s company. I am well organised, self-motivated and caring and compassionate.
As an experienced educator, I developed a strong leadership skill within a team environment,
communicating respectfully across cultures and with people of different faiths. Thus, I maintain a
high standard of ethical behaviour, professionalism and confidentiality especially in engaging and
working with children, young adults, parents and keeping children safe at all times is my top
priority.

Apart from being an English Teacher and Nursery Practitioner, I’m also
passionate about music. I can sing and play musical instruments e.g. guitar, ukulele and compose songs during my free time. I integrated music in my teaching and my students are having an enjoyable learning journey.
