About Alfonso

'm a lacrosse enthusiast with a zest for life that's hard to contain. Whether I'm tearing up the field or spreading positive vibes, you can bet I'm doing it with all my heart.

Lacrosse has been my passion, my escape, my way of connecting with others. Unfortunately, a little thing called an ACL tear decided to join the party. But hey, setbacks are just setups for comebacks, right? So while I'm on the sidelines mending, you can catch me cheering on my teammates with the same enthusiasm I bring to the game.

Off the field, I'm a caring and compassionate soul. I believe in the power of empathy and kindness, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand. Life's too short not to spread a little love, don't you think?

Even if I can't sprint down the field right now, you can bet I'm channeling that energy into making those around me smile. Life may throw curveballs, but I'm here to catch them with a grin and a can-do spirit.

So, whether we're talking lacrosse strategies or just sharing some good vibes, I'm your go-to person. Let's make every moment count, on and off the field!

About the lesson

I believe that as a teacher your goal is to influence the youth. To change how people think and enlighten them. I believe that changing someone for the better is a big part of being an educator. Although you are passing down knowledge, you can also be a great role model to show people how to act. Showing your students respect and kindness can go a long way in their future while helping them thrive to become better people. I believe that not only do your students grow, but you as a person grow as well. Your students are also bright people who deserve acknowledgment and praise. They can change how I act as a person and help me better myself.
I believe that for students to learn in an environment you don't want to make them feel unwelcome or unwanted. The growth in the classroom starts with the teacher. If the teacher isn't putting in effort or trying to help the students, then it could easily make a student shut down. As a teacher you want your students to work together and help each other out, it makes your life easier, and peer-on-peer work could help some students explain it better to others. Catering to all your students whether it's visual learners, physical learners or verbal learners is your job as a teacher. I believe it's your point to try and give your students different arts of work like videos or lectures. To see how they fully understand assignments to prepare them for the real world.
I believe that as a teacher it's your job to reinforce classroom rules and tell them what they can and can't do. This could help the student-teacher relationship when knowing the boundaries of the classroom. I believe as a teacher you need to find the fine line between being too strict and letting your students have fun. In the classroom I want my students to have fun and enjoy what they are learning. It makes your job as a teacher much easier. I want my kids to excel in an area that they thought they wouldn't and even gain simple knowledge from my class.

I believe in treating my students like the growing adult they are bound to become. I want to be able to have a connection I want to become a coach and help grow the sport of lacrosse in my community. Hopefully getting students in my class who I can help educate on and off the field.
