About Ayesha

I’m a friendly, enthusiastic and approachable Psychology student who has always had a genuine interest in understanding why people think, feel and behave the way they do. My interest in Psychology began through studying it at A-Level, and it has continued to grow throughout my degree.
I want to tutor because I know how much of a difference it can make to have someone who is patient, encouraging and able to explain things in a way that makes sense to you. I remember being a student myself and understand that Psychology can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to remembering case studies, applying research and answering exam questions.

I’d love to help students not only improve their knowledge and exam skills, but also develop a genuine interest in Psychology and feel proud of their progress. Seeing someone go from feeling unsure about a topic to understanding it and becoming more confident is something I’d find really rewarding.

I want my lessons to be a positive and comfortable space where students can ask questions, learn at their own pace and feel supported throughout their studies. Most importantly, I want to share my enthusiasm for Psychology and help students realise that they’re capable of more than they might think!

About the lesson

I believe I would make a great tutor because I’m friendly, approachable and genuinely passionate about Psychology. As someone who has studied Psychology at A-Level and is now progressing through a BPS-accredited Psychology degree, I have a strong understanding of the subject and the skills needed to succeed.
I understand that everyone learns differently, so I’m patient and happy to adapt my teaching style to suit each student. I want to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence.

I’m also enthusiastic about helping students develop their understanding, exam technique and critical thinking skills, rather than simply memorising information. My aim is to make lessons engaging and useful while helping students feel more confident in their own abilities.

Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy Psychology and would love to share that enthusiasm with students. I’m committed to making each lesson supportive, productive and tailored to the individual student.
