About Scott
My name is Scott Cowan and I am a first year undergraduate student at the University of Edinburgh for Economics and finance. Last year I was awarded the best mark in Europe for A level Economics as a result of my unique and efficient studying methods. Overall I achieved 2A* and 2A in my A levels, including Mathematics and Physics, placing me in the top percentile for my academic year. I am incredibly passionate about the subject I teach and know all the best ways to maximise the amount of marks my students can achieve at the end of the year. Lastly, I will even work outside my scheduled hours if, for example, I need to mark any of my students' work and I will give 100% for my tutees.

A year of experience in tutoring is reflected in an organised approach to my lessons where communication with the student is my priority. Identifying the student's weakest points within the subject as well as expert advice on how to maximise grades will come together to tailor an experience unique to each tutee. The typical lesson I offer is 1 hour long; however, it can be expanded if, for example, we are doing an official past paper as practice.
