About Janet
I am a dedicated music educator with experience in preparing students from diverse musical backgrounds and skill levels.
I provide a comprehensive approach to music education, offering practical guidance for beginners and advanced improvisation techniques for instrumentalists to enhance their musicianship.
I also specialize in mentoring music enthusiasts preparing for certification exams, including ABRSM,
Trinity College London,
Rockschool (RSL Awards),
Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and
London College of Music (LCM)
graded exams. My teaching covers both music theory and practical aspects. In theory, I focus on the rudiments of music, sight-reading, and transcription.
In practical lessons, I train learners to play a variety of instruments, such as the saxophone, violin, viola, recorder, keyboard, and guitar. As a graduate of music from the University of Uyo, I teach part-time in schools and conduct private lessons for children and adults.
I am proficient in playing the violin, keyboard, saxophone, and guitar. My mission is to provide a balanced education in both the theoretical and practical aspects of music, empowering learners to achieve their musical aspirations.

I prepare students with various music backgrounds and skill levels; a theory to practical guide for beginners and improvisation techniques for players of different instruments to help take their musicianship to another level.
I also groom music enthusiasts who will be writing Music certification examinations such as ABRSM,
Trinity College London,
Rockschool (RSL Awards),
Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and
London College of Music (LCM)
graded exams.
I teach both music theory and music practical. The music theory involves teaching learners rudiments of music, sight reading and transcription. The music practical class involves teaching learners how to play different musical instruments such as saxophone, violin, viola, recorder and keyboard.
I am a graduate of music, from the University of Uyo. I teach music part-time in schools, I also take private classes for both children and adults.
I play the violin, keyboard, saxophone and guitar. I teach both practical and theory aspects of music. Which includes rudiments of music, sight-reading e.t.c I am an instructor who is capable of handling students of different ages and different learning capacities. I pay close attention to my students, understand their learning needs and make use of the right teaching method to achieve desired results.
