About Rosemary

I am a dedicated saxophone tutor with 12 years of teaching experience and a strong passion for music education. During my teaching journey, I have successfully trained around 300 students from high school, college, and adult age groups. I believe that music is a powerful skill that builds confidence, discipline, and creativity in every student. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clear explanation, and regular practice. I start every student with the basics of breathing, posture, embouchure, finger control, and tone quality. These fundamentals help students play with confidence and accuracy. Once the foundation is strong, I guide students through scales, exercises, songs, and performance skills. I always adjust my lessons to match the learning speed and goals of each student. Some students prepare for exams, some for stage performances, and others learn for personal enjoyment. I also teach basic music theory, rhythm training, sight reading, and simple improvisation to develop complete musical understanding. Many of my students have performed in school and college programmes with confidence. Some have achieved excellent results in practical music exams. I maintain a friendly and motivating learning environment where students feel supported. My goal is to help every student enjoy learning and become a confident saxophone player.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for saxophone is built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe that every student can learn music with the right guidance and encouragement. I first understand the student’s level, learning speed, and personal goals before starting structured lessons. Motivation is created through regular encouragement, short-term goals, and performance-based learning. I keep students excited by teaching their favourite songs along with technical exercises. Through clear communication, I explain breathing control, embouchure, finger technique, tone building, scales, rhythm, and musical expression in simple steps. Integrity is reflected in my honesty, punctuality, and strong discipline in every class. I guide students with patience and clear correction so they develop proper habits from the beginning. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, duet playing, rhythm games, and learning music from different styles like jazz, pop, and classical. Along with saxophone, I also teach basic music theory, ear training, sight-reading, rhythm control, and stage confidence. I guide students on effective home practice and performance preparation. My goal is to build confident, skilled, and creative saxophone players.
