About Sam
As a child I swam competitively, and became closely involved with the swimming club and the pool it was based at. When I was old enough, they offered me a job as a swimming teacher.
Seven years later, after my GCSEs, A-Levels, and Bachelor's degree, I finally moved towards a career in IT. As I stopped the swimming lessons, I wanted to combine my experience with the thing I love, and that's why I started teaching programming.

I only take on a very small number of students at a time, so I am able to tailor my lessons to every individual and their goals.
I can support GCSE, A-Level, and undergraduate projects, or help people work towards personal/career goals. No third-party content is ever used in my lessons, and I create custom challenges for each student. Topics include:

- Small projects (games, scripts)
- Coursework/skeleton program support
- Professional coding practices (version control)
- Ethical and responsible AI usage
