About Dzhamilya
I am a Russian language tutor with over four years of experience teaching online across different platforms, and a background in film production and storytelling.
My teaching combines structured language training with real communication practice. I focus on helping students build a solid grammatical foundation while developing natural, confident speaking skills.
I work with beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, adapting each lesson to their goals, level and pace. Whether you are starting from zero or refining advanced grammar and fluency, I provide clear guidance and consistent progress.
I have worked with students from different backgrounds and learning goals, which allows me to adapt quickly and teach effectively at any level.
My lessons are organized, goal-oriented and tailored to individual needs. I create a supportive and focused learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and improving step by step.

My approach is based on one idea: language is not memorization — it’s a way of thinking and expressing meaning.
I combine structured learning (grammar, vocabulary, clear progression) with real communication. Students don’t just “study Russian” — they learn how to actually use it in real-life situations.
I pay a lot of attention to:
- building natural speech patterns
- understanding the logic behind grammar (so you don’t rely on memorization)
- developing confidence in speaking from the very beginning
I adapt each lesson to the student, but I always keep a clear direction and progress.
In my lessons, I use:
- guided conversation (you speak, I support and correct)
- real-life topics instead of artificial dialogues
- structured grammar explanations in simple terms
- vocabulary building through context, not lists
I also integrate elements of storytelling — this helps students remember and feel the language, not just learn it mechanically.
