About Marina
15 years of teaching experience, Russian as a foreign and native language. My pupils never went below A and A* grades in GCSE and A-Level Russian. I developed an easy way to master Russian for adults based on my book "7000 English Words in the Russian Language" published in 2020 (please, see the YouTube book trailer)
I also have 8 years experience of teaching IB Russian Language A (Literature). I am an author of the only one existing handbook "IB Russian Language A: Theory and practice" and a YouTube course IB Russian Literature Guru. I am willingly accepting new students of SSST for online tutoring.

I use the comparative method of teaching based on understanding the similarities and differences between the Russian and English languages. My lessons are conducted in a Socratic style, i.e. it is always a conversation between the tutor and a pupil on the subject. I offer a large number of worksheets and other resources, in hard and electronic version. Homework is a compulsory part of my teaching and it is dedicated to secure the knowledge learnt in lessons.
