My approach to trumpet lessons focuses on building strong fundamentals while encouraging musical growth. I use a combination of techniques, including daily warm-ups, scales, and exercises to develop embouchure, breath control, and articulation, along with ear training and sight-reading. Each lesson lasts 30-60 minutes, depending on the student's level. I am an undergraduate at the Royal Northern College of Music, studying under Richard Marshall, and I also play solo cornet in the Black Dyke Band. I teach students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, helping them improve their technique and musical expression.
