About Kheng
Piano Lessons in London (Home / Online / In-person) Hello! I’m a graduate of the Royal College of Music (RCM) in Piano Performance (Class of 2017). During my studies, I was honoured to receive several awards, including the Hilary Fabian Award, Elgar Memorial Prize, Cosmina and Douglas Liversidge Award, and The Honourable Society of Knights of the Round Table Scholarship. I have studied with renowned pianists Leslie Howard, Julian Jacobson, Gordon Fergus-Thompson, and Danny Driver, and have also participated in masterclasses with Andrew Ball, John Blakely, Chang Hae-Won, Nigel Clayton, Douglas Finch, Murray McLachlan, Dennis Lee, Dorian Leljak, Kathryn Sturrock, Mikhail Kazekevich, Loo Bang Hean, and Toh Chee Hung. As an active performer across London’s concert venues and with over 10 years of teaching experience, I hold the ABRSM LRSM and DipABRSM (High Distinction / Top Scorer), as well as Grade 8 Piano (Distinction) and Grade 8 Theory. My teaching style is structured yet engaging, with a strong emphasis on technical development, musical expression, and enjoyment. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and goals — whether for ABRSM exams, technical improvement, or simply the joy of music. I teach students of all ages, from children to adults, beginners to advanced. I offer one-to-one lessons both in person and online, with flexible scheduling to suit your needs.
