About Kathleen
"13 years of musical practice teaches you that singing is rarely about perfection. Most people think they need a perfect voice to start, but that is simply not true.
I hold a Master of Music in Vocal Studies from the Royal Academy of Music. My work spans coaching for conservatoire auditions and ABRSM or Trinity grade exams.
Helping teens and working professionals find their footing remains the highlight of my day. I support absolute beginners who feel nervous about their first note. Choral scholarship preparation is also a staple of my teaching practice. Expect a playful approach that keeps your vocal technique light and grounded."

"Singing often feels like a puzzle that requires a gentle touch to solve. You might imagine that a first session is filled with intense scales, yet we start by exploring your natural range. We build stability through vocal health and care exercises right away. Stage fear management is integrated to ensure you remain calm during performance.
Microphone technique and harmony singing are introduced as you grow more comfortable. We also focus on head and chest voice transitions to balance your sound.
Each month, we review your performance recordings to track how your technique improves. This ensures you see progress without the pressure of constant judgement. Warm up exercises are kept short to maximise our time together. Vocal range extension happens naturally as you develop better control over your instrument."
