About Leslie
I trained as a concert pianist at the Royal Academy of Music, London and from there embarked on a successful performing and teaching career. Several of my past students have gone on to develop careers within the music industry. I work from a private music studio and students benefit from lessons on a superb Kawai RX7 semi-concert grand. Full enhanced DBS clearance certificate available upon request incl. online update service. A Fellow of the Independent Society of Musicians.

I have experience of teaching complete beginners to advanced instrumentalists (diploma level) focussing mainly on classical repertoire. I have been fortunate to have studied and worked with leading professional musicians, have a great deal of chamber music experience and worked as a grade and diploma ABRSM international examiner for 12 years. I have a coaching and supportive style and am able to adapt my approach to suit varying personalities, aims, ambitions and learning styles.

Details
Hourly rate: £40 (in person) - £36 (online lesson). Lessons of 30 or 45 minutes available. Following an initial free 30 minute consultation, lessons are taught in termly batches with a minimum of 10 lessons per academic term. Lessons are not usually available during school holiday periods.
