I believe art is a communal activity, and love to make art with others, especially of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. I believe that everyone has the right to feel seen through their art, either by themselves or by others. I aim to nurture confidence and satisfaction in your art-making, technically and conceptually.

I will work with you to put together a portfolio with your existing work and round out your portfolio to represent your strengths and interests.
Through guided prompts, we will research, collect, and reiterate ideas to nurture your creative spirit. We will explore different processes & techniques and work together to hone your craft. Our research may involve looking closely at other artists and art you enjoy, studying various methods of art-making, and emulating these techniques. Every class, I will provide critique with a focus on patience & encouragement. This critique will be mostly insight and questions to help guide your artistic journey and see how we can best serve your art and have your art serve you.
