About Connor
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 10 years of teaching experience working with high school students, college learners, and adults who want to learn guitar in a friendly and supportive environment. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 300 students and helped them build confidence in their guitar playing.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, clear guidance, and steady improvement. I believe that anyone can learn guitar with the right support and consistent practice. In my lessons, I focus on important guitar fundamentals such as chord practice, rhythm exercises, strumming patterns, and finger techniques.
These skills help students develop strong playing ability and improve their technique. I also include song learning in my lessons because it keeps students motivated and excited to practice. Teaching hundreds of students has helped me understand different learning styles and adjust my lessons accordingly.
Some of my students have performed at school and college events after improving their skills. My goal is to help students grow their guitar skills and enjoy learning music.

My Guitar teaching methodology focuses on structured learning combined with creativity. I first understand the student’s level and musical interests so that lessons can be planned effectively. Students learn essential Guitar techniques such as chords, strumming patterns, rhythm exercises, scales, and finger strengthening exercises.
These fundamentals help them develop coordination and control while playing. I explain each concept clearly and encourage students to practice through guided exercises. Real-life song examples are used to demonstrate how these techniques are used in actual music.
This helps students stay motivated and understand the purpose of their practice. In addition to Guitar playing, I introduce related subjects such as music theory basics, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation basics, and songwriting to help students build a well-rounded musical skill set.
