About Abner
I had been retired for almost a year now from the active practice of general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry in particular (total of 30 years). I must admit, I sometimes miss it, particularly the challenges and interaction with the individual reaching out to obtain resolutions of their problems. Despite being retired, I still have a a medical license to practice medicine professionally in one of the states here in the U.S. With the recent coronavirus pandemic, people had experienced with soaring problems medically, illness and death, but also problems related to mental health and addictions. We now have the technology to reach out to all people globally and give help thru individual counseling. It is thru this technology that I believed I could reach out to people and share from the trade I learned for many many years of experience.

Individualized case to case analysis of problems. Confidentiality is highly emphasized to protect privacy. Due to the nature of the problems (addictive behaviors), they are handled gently and seriously because it can destroy all the facets of life, including all the persons around the individual or even their jobs or careers. For the last 30 years practice, dealing with problems and issues relating to mental health and addictive behaviors, I have learned and enjoyed working with people who suffered and have dealt with addictions.
