About Linda
I have taught for forty three years! I cannot believe it myself! I have taught classes and individual and group remedial lessons. I have taught in schools and tutor centres. I believe I have made a difference in the students' lives as I believe in teaching the whole person. Successful learning starts with believing in oneself and having good self-esteem, the development of which forms part of my tutoring.

I teach the way a student learns as we all learn in different ways. Finding out what a student is interested in and what makes a student 'tick' is very important...as is fun! Learning should be fun!
Learning by association is very effective as is employing as many of the five senses in the learning process as possible. Of course 'moving' and 'doing' during the learning process makes it even more effective.
I teach Grade One to Grade Six students-a good grounding in the basic skills is of utmost importance...
