About Susan
I am a retired teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching languages to 11 to 18 year olds. My degree is in Mandarin Chinese and I have lived and worked in China and Germany. I also have experience of teaching English as a foreign Language.

I was lucky enough to take part in the Talk Project and I learnt techniques to enable students to really use the language. Students very quickly learn how to form sentences and generally speaking if you can speak you can write so those skills follow on. I like to make my lessons fun and engaging. I am passionate about languages and this comes across in my lessons.
