About Achidanandan
I am a retired educator with 36 years of teaching experience. I have majors in Geography,Latin and Education in my Bachelor of Pedagogics degree which I obtained at the University of Kwa-Zulu in South Africa. I also have a Bachelor of Education degree which I obtained at the University of South Africa. English is one of the subjects in my degree. Also completed the TEFL master course in a matter of four days and obtained a merit pass. Taught grade 12 geography for several years. Produced the highest number of distinctions in the country for three consecutive years. Also taught latin at grade 12 level. Seven students obtained a pass rate of over 80%.

I adopt an integrated approach.My lessons are learner centered. My methodology depends on the level of development and understanding of learners.The primary purpose of my methodology is to ensure that learners understand and achieve proficiency in English in both the oral and written aspects.I believe strongly in learner participation and involvement.I respect the dignity of all learners. I use TPR,visuals and props in my lessons in order to reinforce understanding and learning.
