About Curtis
I am a passionate Singing tutor with 11 years of experience, having successfully taught over 250 students at High School and College levels. I focus on helping students discover and refine their unique voice while improving technical skills such as breath control, pitch, tone, and stage presence. My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, encouragement, and personalized learning.
I provide lessons on vocal exercises, performance techniques, music theory, and repertoire building. Many of my students have performed in competitions and school or college events, earning awards and recognition. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy music, develop their skills, and become confident, expressive singers who can perform with passion and precision.

My singing teaching methodology focuses on adaptability and creative learning. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust lessons to suit individual needs and pace.
Lessons include proper warm-ups, breathing techniques, pitch training, tone improvement, and expressive singing. I use simple explanations and demonstrations to ensure clarity. Creativity is added through musical expression and style exploration.
Diplomacy plays an important role in my teaching. Singing can be personal, so I communicate gently and encourage consistently. This helps students overcome fear and gain confidence.
In addition to Singing, I teach rhythm training, ear training, basic music reading, vocal hygiene, posture awareness, and stage presence. These subjects support overall vocal and musical development.
My goal is to guide students toward confident, healthy, and enjoyable singing.
