About Tessa

My name is Tessa, I'm a Melbourne-based Opera Singer. I have been singing all of my life, as well as having learned piano and clarinet. I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science, a Graduate Diploma in Music and a Masters of Music (Opera Performance) at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. I get so much joy out of working with people to learn to sing.
I have worked with Opera Australia, Victorian Opera, Australian Contemporary Opera Company and regularly sing in the Melbourne concert scene.

About the lesson

Singing is above all fun and rewarding, I like for my students to feel engaged, encouraged and completely comfortable during lessons. I accept students of all ages and levels and offer lessons for 45 minutes or 1 hour. Lesson structures tend to start with warm-ups and technique work before moving onto relevant repertoire and song choices. I will usually make the technical work directly beneficial to the songs you are working on.
Whatever your age or level I would be delighted to teach you to sing and work with you to reach your goals!
