About Taylor
Hi! I’m Taylor, a Registered Nurse (BSN) and recent 2025 nursing school graduate with experience as a Teaching Assistant in Pathophysiology and Evidence-Based Practice Research. I currently work in the Emergency Department, where I apply critical thinking, prioritization, and clinical judgment every day. Because I’ve just completed nursing school myself, I’m highly familiar with the most up-to-date nursing curriculum and the Next Gen NCLEX format. I know exactly what professors and exams are looking for, and I love helping students connect classroom concepts to real-world nursing practice. My approach is patient, thorough, and centered on understanding why things happen rather than just memorizing facts. I pride myself on making complex material clear, manageable, and meaningful. If you’re working toward your BSN or preparing for the NCLEX, I can help you strengthen your foundation, build confidence, and truly understand how to think like a nurse.

I love helping nursing students truly understand the material instead of just memorizing it. My goal is to make concepts click by explaining why something happens in the body or in clinical decision-making. Once you understand the “why,” everything else makes sense.
My Teaching Approach:
I believe that application is the best way to learn. I use real-world examples, case studies, and NCLEX-style questions to help you connect classroom content to actual nursing practice. I break down complex topics step-by-step, relate them to what you’ve already learned, and encourage active thinking rather than recall.
A Typical Lesson:
We’ll start by identifying what’s giving you trouble, review key concepts in simple terms, and then work through application-style questions together. By the end of each session, you’ll not only know the right answers, you’ll understand the reasoning behind them.
Who My Lessons Are For:
I tutor BSN and ADN students in pathophysiology, EBP research, pharmacology, health assessment, and other core nursing courses. Whether you’re preparing for an exam or trying to strengthen your clinical reasoning, I’ll tailor each session to your learning style and goals.
