About Nicholas
I am a registered financial-services professional with hands-on experience across brokerage operations, high-net-worth client service, asset transfers, equities, options, margin, futures, and financial markets. I currently hold the Series 7, Series 63, and Series 3, and I have completed the SIE.
My tutoring focuses on the SIE, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 3, along with investments, financial markets, options, futures, and brokerage fundamentals.
What I bring to tutoring is not just experience passing licensing exams. In my professional career, I have regularly helped other financial-services representatives understand complicated products, regulations, and operational processes. I have served as a subject-matter resource for brokerage questions and have provided hands-on training to coworkers when they needed help understanding both the answer and the reasoning behind it.

My teaching philosophy is simple: understand first, memorize second. Securities exams contain plenty of terminology and rules that must be remembered, but students perform much better when they understand how the concepts connect. I try to turn abstract material into practical examples so that a student can recognize the same principle even when an exam question presents it in unfamiliar language.
I work with several types of students. Some want structured support while studying for an exam from beginning to end. Others already understand most of the material but need targeted help with subjects such as options, margin, bonds, regulations, futures, or account types. I also work with students preparing for a retake and help identify whether the underlying problem is content knowledge, application, question interpretation, pacing, or study strategy.
Sessions are tailored to the student rather than delivered as a one-size-fits-all lecture. We can review concepts, work through practice questions, diagnose incorrect answers, build memory tools, or concentrate an entire lesson on one difficult topic.
My goal is for you to leave a session understanding not only which answer is correct, but why it is correct and how to recognize the concept the next time it appears.
