Lesson Summary
Objective: Introduce children to the piano, finger placement, and simple rhythms in a fun and engaging way.
1. Warm-Up (5 min): Finger stretching and rhythm clapping.
2. Introduction to the Piano (5 min): Explore black and white keys, identify groups of two and three black keys, and find Middle C.
3. Learning Finger Numbers (5 min): Assign finger numbers (1-5), tap fingers in order, and play a finger identification game on Middle C, D, and E.
4. Playing Simple Notes (5 min): Use C-D-E with right-hand fingers (1-2-3), hold notes for a count, and copy simple patterns.
5. Fun Song & Game (5 min): Learn parts of basic fun song use stickers if needed, and play a “Guess the Note” game.
6. Wrap-Up (5 min): Praise efforts, allow free play, assign a simple practice task, and end with a fun fact.
