About George
Since I was little, my dream career has always been in academia, particularly, lecturing. My research strengths are in social justice, and much of my research looks at how linguistics is used to present topics of race and sexuality.
I am eager to inspire the next generation of budding scholars and academics and by offering to tutor, I hope to build the confidence of those who may be struggling under stressful workloads and to help talented students realise their full potential.

My tutoring will involve defining key theories and establishing influential scholars in the area of study, before looking at specific topics for revision and finishing with a troubleshooting period where students can establish areas of improvement, and consolidate their knowledge.
Lessons will usually last up to an hour and as a tutor, I like my students and myself to make full use of the time we have.
I have extensive academic knowledge having completed A-Levels in English Language and English Literature and a BA (Hons) in English Language and Linguistics. My tutoring will use the perspective of being a student to teach the material in a way that students can connect with and understand.
Tutoring will be best for those completing full A-Levels or undergraduate university students.
