About Mathilda-Rose
I am a recent graduate from the University of Bristol in Spanish Italian, where I obtained a 2:1 classification.
My passion for languages began very early on, being in the top sets for both French and Spanish in years 9,10 and 11, I knew it was something I would continue to enjoy for years. After gaining high A*s in French (almost 100%) and Spanish GCSE, I decided to carry them both on for Pre-U, a course which requires you to stretch yourself beyond the course of A-level. In my spare time I enjoy reading French and Spanish books, which enables to further my vocabulary and understanding of the language. I was appointed head of Spanish society at my school, which enabled me to help organise extra curricular events within the Spanish department, such as lectures etc, as well as two weekly sessions to tutor my peers and younger years with parts of the course they were struggling with, be it grammar, vocabulary or literature.
I am confident teaching French, Spanish, Italian and English aiming to make it fun and interesting for a student who may be struggling or need any extra help.
I am passionate about these languages and I would do my utmost to make every lesson engaging and enjoyable.
I am friendly and patient and happy to help anyone looking to improve their languages at any level!
