About Bronwen
I am a recent graduate who has been giving French lessons for two years. I have taught over fifty students who have seen improvements in their speaking, writing, and reading comprehension skills. I worked at Wichita State University as a Supplemental Instruction Leader where I facilitated group study sessions for students in French 111 and French 210, and I also provided individual tutoring lessons on and off campus.

My teaching method places an emphasis on speaking and pronunciation as well as building a foundation of listening comprehension. Building oral fluency and aural understanding as early on as possible is a primary goal of mine. Lessons begin with conversation that introduces new vocabulary words that are featured later in the lesson. Lessons include practice with conjugating, pronunciation / phonetics, vocabulary, and composing sentences and reviewing the various structures and parts of speech that make up French sentences.
