About Deepshika
My name is Deepshika, and I am a Grade 9 student who has been playing piano since the age of 8. Alongside my musical training, I have extensive experience in tutoring, volunteering, and leadership, both in and outside of school. These experiences have helped me become a responsible, reliable, and engaging tutor. I am passionate about sharing my love for music through affordable but high-quality lessons that are both educational and enjoyable. I take pride in creating a welcoming environment where students feel confident asking questions and excited to learn.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and engaging, with a strong focus on helping students build confidence and enjoyment in piano. As a Level 8 RCM piano tutor with Level 7 RCM theory and 6 years of experience, I understand both the technical and musical sides of learning piano, especially for beginners.
I teach up to Level 4 RCM piano and theory and tailor each lesson to the student’s age, learning style, and goals. I make sure students understand why they are learning each skill, not just how to play it.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my kind, patient, and determined teaching style. I have extensive experience not only with piano but also with tutoring, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and adapt when a student needs extra support. I stay up to date with RCM expectations and focus on steady, visible progress while keeping lessons enjoyable and motivating.
My lessons are for students of any age, especially beginners, who want a supportive and engaging learning environment. Whether a student is learning piano for fun or preparing for RCM exams, I am committed to helping them grow at a comfortable and consistent pace.
