About Gerrilyn
I have been playing piano for 13 years, and although I do not have a degree in it, I have always been surrounded by music throughout my life.
I have played in the Performing Arts Festival for many years, in which I have surmounted scholarships and first place certificates, all with the thanks of my superb teachers.
Additionally, I have taught theory classes at musical summer camps and aided beginner students to launch-off their piano journey.
A key highlight of my piano performing was monthly performances at senior homes, which not only brought confidence to my playing, but also invoked a sense of communal responsibility.

As a former piano student of 13 years, I know that the key to musical advancement is by mastering the basics--technique!
My lessons will be split 50/50 between technical exercises (scales, ear training, etc.) and repertoire.
Whether you are a complete beginner, or have been playing for many years, I am happy to incorporate any help I can!
