About Roxanne

I am a Jeweller studying in my final year at the Royal College of Art. I have 1st class honours in Jewellery and Silversmithing from The Cass school of art, architecture and design and I have worked in fine jewellery for 10 years for companys such as, Annoushka and Dinny Hall.

I have been teaching groups of students for 4 years I have taught globally and in schools such as Istituto Marangoni. I am currently starting my own jewellery brand to be launched in 2019.

About the lesson

I like to teach with a balance of concept and technique. Traditional practices are taught and applied to modern materials, spaces or forms. I take jewellery beyond the body to ensure that each student has a unique direction and identity.

Starting with basic but vital technical exercises in 3D while incorporating 2D.

All long term tutoring is given in projects to ensure that students start and complete works to a high standard.

Projects can enclude: luxury jewellery, Fashion jewellery, Textiles jewellery, Smithing, Art jewellery, upcycling, Public art, small scale sculpture, wax work, sketchbook, start up basics, portfolio building.

Each programme is tailored and agreed by student after initial meeting to ensure students needs are supported.
